Rubén Garay Araujo

Ruben is a visual artist and photographer, and since 2020 he has been a collaborator of Cocina Colaboratorio, where he has documented significant processes, actions and projects in the three territories. His fascination with food and the diverse ways of cooking in each community has been a constant source of inspiration, broadening the scope of his work and integrating situated narratives, while bringing an artistic gaze to biocultural memory. In 2021, he founded Luz Interior, a studio specializing in the recording and documentation of artworks, artistic residencies and exhibitions, both solo and collective. He has documented outstanding projects such as Materia Abierta, as well as exhibitions in renowned spaces such as Casa Lu, Museo Tamayo, Museo Anahuacalli, Museo Universitario del Chopo, Museo Franz Mayer, Instituto Italiano de Cultura and Art Week CDMX, among others.
