Salsabila is a creative designer and multi-disciplinary storyteller. Her work spans from exhibition design, illustrations, Augmented Reality experiments, interior architecture, and graphics for printed and social media. She is interested in revealing narratives regarding cultures and everyday life. Undertaking the MA Narrative Environments course in CSM, she wants to engage communities in Indonesia to participate in the design of public spaces and local heritage sites, and use the existing narratives in the environment, in accordance with nature conservation and sustainability. Her narrative environment’s major project will be on ancestral knowledge that protects the environment from Papuan land, focusing on the role of women, intergenerational knowledge transfer, and how this knowledge can inform our future.
Salsabila did a residency with Cocina Colaboratorio in Loma Bonita, Chiapas and Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, Oaxaca during 2023.
