My name is Andrea Aquino, I am a gastronomer and I live in Mexico City.

I studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomy at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana, where I specialized in gastronomic research and communication. I continued my professional path in academic development, participating in study programs with a multidisciplinary focus on food anthropology, food history, agroecology, and food sovereignty.

I have worked as an advisor on digital projects related to gastronomic communication and recipe development, and have led workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and panel discussions from the perspective of food studies.

At Cocina Colaboratorio, I participated in the co-design of the Biocultural Living Archive, where I proposed—through recipes and their preparation—food accompaniment for children and adults, based on the themes of water, drought, festivity, and harvest.
