Gabriela Fuentes

Gabriela Fuentes Alquicira is the general director of La Compañía Teatral Gabinete, which began in 2017 as an artistic training program in the Xochimilco borough. Its stage director is Manuel Ruíz Loya, an actor, director, and playwright. They currently present “Voices, Legends in the Dark,” a performance featuring legends from Xochimilco and other regions of Mexico.

Gabriela believes that educational processes in the performing arts deserve national and international visibility. For this reason, she has organized cultural exchanges through online theater events in Colombia, Spain, Peru, and Mexico City, aiming to foster connections and share cultural experiences.

Gabriela has collaborated with Cocina Colaboratorio Xochimilco since 2021, and she participated in the intergenerational workshops of the Biocultural Living Archive in 2024.
