Jesper Buursink

Jesper Buursink (1981) is a radio/podcast maker and illustrator from the Netherlands who has been part of Cocina Colaboratorio since 2018. He is part of the Stratenmakers Audiocollective and works in diverse art projects for museums/art spaces, podcasts and for the Dutch national radio. 

Jesper’s drawings and recordings can take place in the streets, the rainforest, the kitchen, or the countryside, wherever people feel comfortable. With his particular open style of drawing and audio, he likes to give the stage to the voices and the people that are not always seen or heard. Keeping his practice in line with the principles of reciprocity. 

Together with Elizabeth Guerrero he is the co-creator of the podcast Radio Cocina Colaboratorio, collaborating in the audio-recepies, the mobile radio, soundwalks and with the illustration of various activities.
