Nuria Flores Abreu
Site Coordinator Xochimilco
Nuria Flores Abreu is a biologist based in Mexico City. Formally, she has dabbled in various fields of biology, from neurosciences to animal cognition in wild life, through evolutionary ecology and molecular evolution. However, she has always been interested in participatory work and the transformative potential of art and science. Her main interest lies in triggering the formation of diverse, committed and self-critical communities through playful and reflective exchanges between local and external people and to hold participatory art and science encounters with a deep scope regardless of age, gender or profession of people.
At the end of 2019, she joined the project that today is Cocina Colaboratorio as cross and site coordinator in Xochimilco.
